Not been a bad week at all. I had two enquiries directly from the website.

Things are now going to plan. Produced some more ads for THF, plus a really lovely creative leaflet and poster for a theatre company down here in Cornwall. Did some more creative work on the new Newquay.co.uk website. It’s coming together well and will soon be giving visitors to Newquay all the latest up to date information in style.

Tomorrow morning have to get up early for the weekly Business League breakfast league meeting, which is held in the pub at Threemilestone. Then a day working with Paul from the Big Man’s Shop on the latest Sales leaflet.

On Monday I have a new client coming in to put together a logo for them. Sometimes I like to invite customers to come in and sit with me at the computer while I work. A lot of designers don’suggestions. You can’t do this all the time, but it’s good way to work if the client has a really good idea of what they’re after. It also saves them money because there isn’t too much tooing and froing through emails.

It’s almost like playing a piece of your own music to live audience. You get to see their reaction immediately. Sometimes not so good but, mostly really exciting, as a logo or concept comes to life right in front of your eyes.
