After a few days of intense fiddling around and asking lots of questions, I have managed to get all my original oil paintings into a gallery with a carousel at the top. This allows the user to slide through the thumbnails and click on a picture of their choice. I chose a plugin a called nextGEN gallery, along with an extension called smooth gallery. This looks great and makes the pages look a lot more visually interesting than a load of names in a list. Next job is to get my portfolio uploaded into a gallery. This will take a little bit longer to produce. But I mustn’t stand still, learning all the time. Watch this space…
